Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Jean Malos, age 85, of Springhill, LA, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Don Tinsley officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA. Mrs. Malos was born on August 31, 1936 to James O. and Oma Davis Smith in Corpus Christi, TX and passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. She took pride in her yard always tending to her garden and watching the deer graze. She loved to go line dancing with her friends and loved to spend time with her family and friends over a cup of coffee. You could find her sitting outside on her patio with her beloved cat, Garfield. She is survived by her three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Balda and husband Dave of Haynesville, LA, Robin Nussman and husband Sonny of Mooringsport, LA, Mary McDonald of Springhill, LA; and one son, Waymon McDonald and wife Renee of Texarkana, TX; nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Malos was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Michael Malos, her sister, Leatris Legg, and her best friend, Inez Troquille.
