Chico~ Clarence Douglas “Doug” Baisden, 87, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Decatur.
 
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Doug on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.  It will be held at Robert and Laraine Holland's Home 500 County Road 1653, Chico, Texas 76431. 
 
Doug was born on November 16, 1934 in Waco, Texas. He was Director of The Shriner’s Arabia Temple in Houston and a 32nd Degree Master Mason. He was retired and spent many years as a home inspector. Doug attended Texas A&M University for his studies. He loved his community and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Doug was a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Clarence Baisden and Billie Mae Bernice Monday; and his first wife, Jimmie Lee Russell Baisden; and second wife, Penny Holland Baisden.
 
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Steven Camp of Corinth, Randall Camp of Corinth, Robert Holland and wife Laraine of Chico, and James Holland of Sunset; his daughters, Barbara Holland Rumer and husband Boyd Rumer and Jan Newton and husband Robert all of Sunset; numerous grandchildren, greats and great-greats; many extended family members and a host of good friends.
