Keith Edward Munroe Obituary

Keith Edward Munroe, 66 a lifelong resident of Waltham passed away Thursday November 25th at the Newton Wellesley Center for Alzheimer’s Care in Wellesley, MA.

Born to the late Roger S. Munroe and Mary “Betty” Munroe (Howe) on November 10, 1955.

Growing up as a twin and having three other siblings, Keith understood firsthand what it was to be a Waltham “Southsider” in our era of time when childhood experiences, rivalries, neighborhood comradery and the love that connected us all made us who we are today.

After graduating Waltham Vocational High School Class of 1973 Keith worked at several other locations, Taytor Potato Chip and Pepsi before he would go on to start his own Roofing Company K& M Roofers in 1986, until his health no longer permitted him to work. His adventurous spirit mixed with his love for the New England Patriots would grant him opportunities to watch them play in different venues across the U.S. and his love for 60’s and 70’s Rock was undeniable. It’s a good chance if you heard The Doors, Pearl Jam, U2, or any Rock blasting down Moody Street it came from Keith. He enjoyed a good laugh, a good time and great people.

Predeceased by his sister Deborah Munroe and brother-in-law Henry Arcese.

Keith is Survived by his son, Stephen Munroe and daughter Marykate Munroe both of Watertown, MA. His brother Roger(skip) Munroe and his wife Donita (Boyle) of Land O Lakes, Florida, his devoted Twin sister Kim Arcese of Plymouth, MA, his brother Brian Munroe of Land O Lakes, Florida, Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Joe of Cullowhee North Carolina, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to gather and remember the love Keith shared on Thursday December 2nd from 4- 7pm in The Main Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels located 773 Moody Street Waltham, MA. 02453. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 7pm. Parking Attendants will be on duty.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are welcome. Memorial donations maybe made in Keith's name to Lewy Body Dementia Research at www.lbda.org
