Howard Haar, age 89, saw Jesus face to face on Friday November 26, 2021.&nbsp; His visitation will be held 5pm-9pm Monday, November 29, 2021 at Ott &amp; Lee in Morton and visitation on<br /> Tuesday from 9am-1pm at the funeral home.&nbsp; Services will be held 1pm Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from the Ott &amp; Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Bowman Cemetery.&nbsp; Rev. &nbsp;Charles Lunford and Rev. Charlie Finch will officiate the services.&nbsp; Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott &amp; Lee Funeral Home in Morton.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Rev. Haar was born in Bowdle South Dakota on August 21, 1932.&nbsp; Howard loved watching sports and his favorite team was Michigan.&nbsp; He loved to travel and preach the gospel and his family stated, &ldquo;if you ever met him you knew he was a jokester.&rdquo;&nbsp; Howard was always on the phone checking on people making sure they were ok, and he loved getting together playing Rook.&nbsp; Preaching God&rsquo;s word and praying for people was what he lived for and when he entered the Gates of Heaven, I&rsquo;m sure he heard, &ldquo;Welcome Home my Good and Faithful Servant.&rdquo;&nbsp; He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">He is preceded in death by his parents, John Haar and Katie Zeeb Haar; son, Timothy Haar; 1st wife, Deloris Haar; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Ruby Nell Bowman Haar of Pelahatchie; children, Kim Haar of Michigan, Pam Lugari of Ohio and John Mark Haar (Wanda) of Michigan; 5 grandchildren, Krista Spencer, Tara Haar, Tyler Lewis, Mariah Haar and Jacob Haar; 2 great grandchildren, Luke and Jake Spencer; and a host of friends.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Pallbearers will be Larry Williams, Austin Bowman, Kyle Brown, Joe Bynum, Larry Bowman and Kevin Williams.</p>

Rev. Howard Haar, age 89, saw Jesus face to face on Friday November 26, 2021.  His visitation will be held 5pm-9pm Monday, November 29, 2021 at Ott & Lee in Morton and visitation on
Tuesday from 9am-1pm at the funeral home.  Services will be held 1pm Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Bowman Cemetery.  Rev.  Charles Lunford and Rev. Rev. Pallbearers will be Larry Williams, Austin Bowman, Kyle Brown, Joe Bynum, Larry Bowman and Kevin Williams.
