Gabriel S. Berrafato

Gabriel S. Berrafato Sr., age 93, of Morton Grove and Glenview, IL passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on November 26, 2021. He was a beloved husband for 55 years to his late wife, Irene, nee Senini; loving father of Gabriel Jr. (Audrey), Michael (Julia), Ann (Paul Tobin), Matthew (Laura), Mark (Cristin), Christopher (Cynthia), and Andrew (Barbara); doting grandfather of Amy, Kelly (Donny), Sara (Kirk), Stephen (Kristen), Matthew (Antoinette), Emily (Kyle), Sasha, Tessa (Brian), Samantha (Jeff), Thomas, Michael (Caitlin), and Pauly Tobin; great grandfather of Olivia, Jayden, Isaiah, Liam, Ben, Owen, Claire, and Maddie. A proud navy veteran, and a dedicated attorney for his entire career, including Village attorney in Morton Grove and Park District Attorney in Niles. He was an avid golfer, and a member of Ridgemoor Country Club for 30+ years, and the biggest DePaul fan there ever was. He never ceased to put a smile on your face by tickling the ivories, or twirling you around the dance floor to the jitterbug.
