<p>Gary Anthony Pitre, 62, died Saturday, November 27, 2021. Born March 23, 1959 he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 8:00 AM until 10:00AM at Ordoyne Funeral Home.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his companion of 11 years, Paulette Fanning; son, Donavan Pitre (Crystal); daughter, Sara Lachico (Kyle); grandchildren, Anthony Pitre and Tywin Lachico; sister, Judy Blanchard (David), brother, Ricky Pitre; godchildren, Trey Blanchard, Tammy Dufrene; niece, Christine Billiot and numerous great nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Pitre and Annette Boudreaux Pitre; brothers, Michael Pitre and Alfred Pitre, Jr.; grandchildren, D.J. Pitre and Adrian Pitre. He was also preceded in death by his dogs, Stitch and Chico. </p><p><br></p><p>He was a member of the Raceland Volunteer Fire Department. He worked for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. </p><p><br></p><p>Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p>Obituary
