Dorothy L. Henne, 87 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on November 26, 2021. She was a native of New Orleans and resided in Metairie. She was the daughter of the late, Louis F. and Mary S. Landry. Dorothy is survived by her children, Deborah Miller and Eugene (Donna C.) Henne Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nicholas) Sporl, Jonathan (Stephanie) Henne, Kevin Miller, Amanda Henne (Tate) Boudreaux, Tyler Henne and Alyssa Babin; great-grandchildren, Emma Murray, Graham Boudreaux, Pierce Boudreaux and Kate Henne; siblings, Linda Unger and Melody Landry. She is also survived by Laurie and Tab Babin. Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved parents and husband, Eugene G. Henne Sr. Dorothy’s legacy is her great love for her family above all else.
A visitation will take place at Tharp Sontheimer Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001 on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10:00am - 12:00pm followed by a Funeral Service. Entombment will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie.
