Michael D''Angelo, 97, beloved husband of the late Louise Webster D''Angelo, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Midstate Medical Center. Born in Meriden, CT on December 11, 1923, to the late Joseph and Consigliga D''Angelo who were immigrants from Italy. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Albert. He graduated from Meriden High School in 1942 and was drafted into the Army. He served in the Army for three years before he returned to Meriden. Mike loved to tell stories about the war and his part in it. Mike was married to Louise on September 7, 1957, and it was the happiest of times until the death of Louise. The good Lord did not bless them with children as Louise and Mike wanted. When Mike came home from war, he began working at Pratt and Whitney for thirty-nine years until his retirement. Louise founded and worked at The Maryheart Crusaders in Meriden, CT. After Mike retired, he joined Louise and worked at The Maryheart Catholic Bookstore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 1st at 10 :00 am at Our Lady Queen of Angel, Mt. Carmel Campus, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden, CT. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors. The John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden is entrusted with the arrangements.
