Mary Tall Kibodeaux
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Mary Tall Kibodeaux, 89, who died at 1:53 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. Fr. Arockia Doss, Pastor of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate the funeral services. The burial will follow in the Mermentau Cemetery. Visitation may be observed Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Kibodeaux was born February 2, 1932 in Midland, LA to Alexis and Celestine Louviere Tall. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Crowley American Legion Hospital for 36 years. She loved cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She is survived by 4 daughters, Patricia Kibodeaux of Scott, Barbara Beller and her husband Charles of Estherwood, Lydia Wocher and her husband Vincent of Cincinnati, OH and Mona Primeaux and her husband Patrick of Lyons Point; 2 sons, Hellias Kibodeaux and his wife Nicolet Superchi of New Orleans and Kevin Kibodeaux and his wife Sayuri of Newnan, GA; 1 sister, Alberta Landry and her husband Dale of Jennings; 2 brothers, Alexis Tall and his wife Deanie of Midland and James Romero and his wife Tina of Welsh, LA, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Hellias Kibodeaux; 1 son, Syd Kibodeaux; 2 brothers, Joseph Tall and Johnny Tall and a great granddaughter Samara Smith.
