Roger Lee Burnett Obituary

Roger Lee Burnett, 73-year-old resident of Rose, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his home. He was born on May 26, 1948, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Joseph Perry Burnett and Jacqueline Truman (Hix) Burnett. Roger was a graduate of Tahlequah High School, and attended college in Tahlequah at NSU. Roger worked as tractor mechanic, and had his own shop “Rogers” in Tahlequah, before moving his business to his home and working from there. The family includes his two sisters, Judy Sears and husband Jess of Branson, Missouri, Donna Jean Hutchins and husband Alan of Muskogee, his uncle Gary Hix of Tahlequah, one niece and four nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Following cremation, Roger will be laid to rest next to his father, in Tahlequah.
