Peter Paul Seaton, age 88, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 7:29 a.m. on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the Medicalodges in Neosho, Missouri. He was born August 21, 1933, in Branson, Missouri, the son of Ralph and Grace (Bilyeu) Seaton. Peter was a 1951 graduate of Branson High School in Branson, Missouri and graduated in 1954 with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He was commissioned in the U.S. Army in August 1954 and served two tours in Vietnam. Peter was a graduate of the Command and General Staff College in Ft. Leavenworth, where he taught and served as comptroller. Peter retired in 1975 as the Commander of the Armed Forces Entrance and Examining Station in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a cattle farmer and a member of the Kaw Valley Scottish Rite in Lawrence, Kansas. Peter is survived by his daughter, Sharon Lukachick and her husband, John, of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Dr. Paul Seaton of Baltimore, Maryland and Gary Seaton and his wife, Bettina, of Wichita, Kansas; his companion, Emma Neal Lewis, of Miller; nine grandchildren, Grace Patton, Daniel Seaton, Emily Sharpe, Paul Seaton, Andrew Seaton, Peter Seaton, Sarah Seaton, Tyler Lukachick and his wife, Paige, and Claire Smith and her husband, Willem; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph, and Grace; sister, Lola Brown and six brothers, Alfred, Fred, Earl, Orvil, Homer and Ray Seaton. A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller, with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
