<p>Mr. Antoine Edmond, 84, died after a short battle with prostate cancer.&nbsp; Born on&nbsp;the beautiful island town of Port-Margot, Haiti, Mr. Edmond was a 38 year resident of New Haven, before retiring to his beloved Florida.&nbsp; &nbsp;A hard worker his entire life, his career spanned that of a tailor, builder, and finally a machinist for the New Haven Register.&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr. Edmond is survived by his wife Delivrancia Edmond, their 10 children, 20 grandchildren, as well as his sisters Marguerite, Jeanne, Louise, and brother Jean Baptiste Edmond.</p> <p>Mr. Edmond fought the good fight and has finished his course, all the while, keeping his faith.&nbsp; Henceforth, there is a crown of righteousness, presented to him, from the Lord, the righteous judge.&nbsp; Mr. Antoine Edmond was a member of the Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church in New Haven, CT, where he served as an elder, deacon and facility manager.</p> <p>Mr. Antoine Edmond will surely be missed as such a wonderful husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend who loved to help everyone. A man passionate about serving the community. Truly a loving, caring, individual, and beautiful, inspirational human being.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services will take place in Florida.</p>
