Mary J. Barcio

Mary J. Barcio, 74, of West Chester passed away peacefully at her home with family and friends by her side on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Mary was born on December 8, 1946 in Racine Wisconsin to the late Robert and Lucille Jennings. Mary was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Accounting and was a life-long Badgers fan. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was a teacher for 25+ years at the Westtown School in Westtown, PA. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Jennings; her son, Anthony Barcio and her son-in-law, Michael Solon. Mary is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Barcio; her daughter, Heather Barcio; 5 grandchildren: Alex, Michael, Jacob, Shannon and Seamus as well as her brother, James Jennings and his wife, Marcy. A memorial service will be held at Grove United Methodist Church in West Chester, PA on December 11, 2021. The family will receive guests from 10-11am and the service will follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the youth group at Grove United Methodist Church.
