Joseph Elliott “Joe” Hadley, age 75, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Phillipsville Community died Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his residence. He was a retired Tow Boat Captain. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Moorer Hadley of Phillipsville; his children, Kyle (Sandy) Hadley of Monroeville, AL, Mark (Krystal) Hadley of Bay Minette, AL, Katrina (Jason) Jones of Winder, GA and Wesley (Joy) Hall of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Joyce Elaine (Carl) Jackson of Brewton, AL; twenty-five grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Hadley and his parents, Elsmore Elliott and Frances Lee Stewart Hadley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Otis Thames officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Hadley, Beau Hadley, Noah Hadley, Jayce Hadley, Sean Basham, Caleb Hall and Peyton Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be James Dean, Matt Johnson, Benjamin Palmer and Camden Hadley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498, P.O. Box 751, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
