69, of Appleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, following a short illness. Bonnie was born on August 17, 1952, to the late Orville and Dorothy (Bruehl) Conradt. 

Bonnie was loved and cherished by many. She will be missed by her loving husband of 32 years, Steve; son Ben (Christy) Johnson and their children Styles, Cash, and Gabriella; daughter Emily (Nicole) Johnson; son Patrick (Aggie) Lueck; siblings Jeannie, Julie, Lynn, Rocky and John. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Justin. 

Bonnie touched the lives of many, having always made it a priority to care for others. It often felt as if everyone knew her from her time at Cleo’s or through the relationships, she grew with the individuals for whom she cared. Those who had the honor of knowing and loving Bonnie will forever remember her infectious laugh and her generous and giving spirit. 

Never straying far from her Shiocton farm-girl roots, you could often find Bonnie in her garden cultivating beautiful landscapes side-by-side with her best friend Charlie and husband Steve. She thrived in her garden, and it showed. Bonnie could grow an amaryllis in July or a tropical plant in a Wisconsin winter. She had herbs and tomatoes overflowing, which she loved to bring into the kitchen to create meals for her loved ones. 

But of all the things she loved to do, nothing filled her cup more than spending time with her family. Her kids and grandkids were the light of her life. Of all the roles she played, she was proudest of ‘Mom’ and ‘Grandma.’ To know Bonnie was to know her love and adoration for what she affectionately referred to as her ‘tribe.’

A Memorial Service for Bonnie will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church (326 E. North St), Appleton with Rev Mary Bauer officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. directly at church on Tuesday. We respectfully request that all attending wear masks per church policy. Friends may visit on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established and a tree will be planted in Bonnie’s name.
