Everett George Schlotthauer July 10, 1938 – November 25, 2021 Everett G. Schlotthauer, 83, passed peacefully Thursday, November 25, 2021. Born in Windsor, Colorado, July 10, 1938, he was the son of Henry Jr. and Lena (Glantz) Schlotthauer. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1956. He married his wife of 59 years, Emma D. (Leffler) Schlotthauer, January 29, 1961. Together they purchased and farmed a 100+ acre farm North of Severance. He was a member of Weld County Farm Bureau and Weld County Young Farmers. He held various leadership positions as a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Bethel Lutheran Church. He will be remembered for his love for his family, especially the legacy of his great grandbabies. He loved farming and spending time in the field as well as helping and spending time with family and friends. He was always quick to make a new friend, always willing to share a smile and a laugh. He would lend a helping hand to a neighbor or friend with ease. He loved animals, in particular his Daisy dog. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Jr. and Lena, his beloved wife, Emma, his brothers Edward and Robert. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; E. Duane and Elaine (Kochendorfer) Schlotthauer, Darryl Schlotthauer and Julie Schlotthauer; grandchildren Jeremy and Kasey (McCullough) Schlotthauer and their children Lilly, Braxton, Xander and Saylor, John and Lindsey (Schlotthauer) Burnett and their children Ronan, Waylon and Brynlee. Olof and Jennifer (Henderson) Bengtson and their children Emma, Maddie, Olivia and Clara, and Shawn Schlotthauer, sister Helen Gebhardt and brother Melvin Schlotthauer. A service will be held at 10:00 Friday, December 3, 2021, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 328 Walnut St., Windsor. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St, Jude's Hospital in Everett Schlotthauer name. The family will match any donations made. As a celebration of Emma's life was delayed, the family will be celebrating both Everett and Emma's lives together. Online condolences may be made at www.marksfuneralservice.com.
