Danny Duane Moore, 77, of Calhoun, Ga passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. He was born on October 29, 1944 to the late Duane L. and Beatrice Phipps Moore. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dyretha Clark.

Danny had 40 years of dedicated service to Lockheed Martin. He also coached various boys and girls teams with the Calhoun Recreation Department.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Brenda Moore; his son, Clinton Moore; his daughter and son-in-law, Selena and Ted McCormick; his brother, Tony Moore; his grandchildren, Brandi Coker (Bobby), Daniel Gallman (Tiffany Swanson), Lamont Gallman (Elizabeth), Mollie Russell, Tyler Russell, Amanda Cantrell (David), Chris McCormick; great-grandchildren, Brysen Coker, Bailey Coker, Alyssia Gallman, Ava Johnson, Madison Fanning, Leanna Brock, Bryan Macon, Dylan Cantrell, Brayden Cantrell, Lydia McCormick, Grayson Lingerfelt, Cayleigh Benson; nieces, Nina Banks, Nena Hall Jordon, and Divana Hall.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM from South Calhoun Baptist Church with Rev. Clifford Free and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Wheeler, Doug Banks, David Farrell, Shaun Moore, Randy Balliew, and Steve Glass.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked the donations be made in Danny’s memory to South Calhoun Baptist Church. 500 Pine Street Calhoun, GA 30701.
