BOYLE, Carolyn (August 15, 1949 – November 23, 2021) –


Family members and friends of Carolyn (Stier) Boyle, formerly of Tillsonburg, are saddened by her passing on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, at the Elgin Manor, St. Thomas, in her 73rd year. Born in Tillsonburg, daughter of the late Frank Stier and the late Teresa (Auer) Stier. Loved mom of Brit Walker (Laura), of Sacramento, California. Survived by a sister Jolan (Dennis White) of Bath, Ontario. Also survived by an uncle George Stier and aunt Irene Stier, of Tillsonburg, and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.


Carolyn was a graduate of Seneca College Design Arts Program with honours (October 1976) and she was honoured to to design a special children’s playground in Toronto. She was a dedicated employee of the Hatch Associates Consulting Engineers of Toronto, where she worked as a Freelance Drafter and Clerk. She was a proud volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society. “Special thanks goes to cousins Alex Kovacs, of Sarnia for his dedicated assistance during the many years of Carolyn’s declining health. Appreciation also goes out to her church family for their friendship and caring.”


In keeping with her expressed wishes, cremation has taken place and a public memorial service has been planned at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (60 Vienna Rd, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3C7), on Saturday December 4th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. by Elder Mark Million. Interment will follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
