Wayne Richardson Nepean, Ontario Obituary

Wayne Richardson

After several long battles with cancer, Wayne Howard Richardson, 71, of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2021, surrounded by his brother Gary (Sharon), children Carolyn (Kevin), Bradley (Magda), Beth (Patrick) and his loving partner, Paula. Wayne will be warmly remembered by his close friends, sister Lynne, family from Southern Ontario and Montreal, and by his grandchildren, Henry, Blaire and Madison, who knew him as GrandDad.
Wayne was a very calm and thoughtful man. He seemed to always find the right words or expressions, and his intuitive nature was very much evident in both his writing and gestures to others. Wayne was equally known for his sharp wit and silly sense of humour, a quality that his children have inherited quite willingly, and proudly bear today. Wayne loved football, and was particularily fond of baseball - a strong passion realized by watching his children play the game over the years.
As a sweet and simple man, Wayne wished for no fuss nor special service. Please remember Wayne in your own special way, over your next order of fries and gravy, at your next ball game, or when you hear the song “I can see clearly now, the rain is gone…”.

Rest in natural great peace, Dad.

Love.
