Tracy Ann Dent was born March 8, 1961, in Danville, VA, and moved to Tampa at the age of 5 and attended Monroe Middle School and Robinson High School, graduating in the class of 1979. Tracy moved to Hapeville, Ga where she spent 30 plus years and worked at ADT and Kroger. Tracy returned to Tampa in 2014 and shortly after met the love of her life, Tommy. They soon began sharing their love of gardening, the beach, sunsets, motorcycle rides, exploring everything, and eventually loving sunrises so much as to be married at sunrise! Her talent for capturing sunrises beyond the lens was amazing and blessed others immensely. Tracy was and continues to be one of the sweetest, kindest, most genuine people we will ever know. She was someone who touched many; bringing family closer, turning friends into family, and strangers into friends. When she loved, it came purely from the heart. Her beauty radiated from her soul to a glow on her skin and through her beautiful eyes. She definitely left a special mark on each of our hearts and in this world. Tracy is preceded in death by her father, Thomas O'Dell Rakes. She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Dent, her stepdaughter, Suzanne Hughes(Craig) and Grandkids, her mother, Eileen Mays, her brothers, Jeff and Ron, nieces, and nephews, her two God-sons, and many more extended family and friends. Tracy will be missed but never forgotten.
