<p>Christine McNeal was born May 26, 1940 to the proud parents of Inez and Eddie McNeal. &nbsp;She departed this earthly life on November 24, 2021</p> <p>She attended Waverly Elementary School, Booker T. Washington High School and Benedict College. She is a retiree of the State of South Carolina Department of Transportation. Before working for the State of South Carolina, she was employed by Orangeburg State College in the Music and Fine Arts Department. After moving to California, she was employed by the Dupont Company and worked for the Oakland Public School System for many years.</p> <p>Christine possessed a kind, loving, giving spirit and was loved by everyone who knew her.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Inez McNeal. A sister Jeanette Perry and 4 brothers; James (JB), Fred, Samuel and Lemuel (Deet) McNeal.</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Kelley Green of Columbia, SC. Two grandsons, Kendyl and Jasiri Green and two great-grandchildren Kodi and Zhuri Green as well as a host of other relatives and friends.</p>
