David Roy Lehr, 63, of White Lake, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. David was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 30, 1958 to the late James and Geraldine Lehr. He grew up in Redford Township, Michigan and as a young man, worked with his dad installing window treatments, and would later continue that trade on his own, meeting many of his life-long friends along the way. David married Sharon Auda, who grew up in the same neighborhood, on June 15, 1985 and they raised two children, Nicole and Ryan. He and his family lived in White Lake for over 30 years. David always liked to keep himself busy, working throughout his life. In his free time, he loved to watch sports, go to the track, and spend time with his friends and family. David was a man with lots of friends, and his laid-back nature and smile will be truly missed by a big family and all who crossed his path. Beloved husband of Sharon for 36 years. Loving father of Nicole and Ryan. Dear brother of Ron (Cathy) Lehr and Gerianne Collard (the late Pat). Nephew of Shirley Davis (Tom), Patricia “Petie” Carr (the late Ted), the late Rose “Rosie” Wahlers (the late Sam) and the late Mathew “Sonny” Palazzola (Karen). Also survived by his very good friend and cousin Matt Davis, as well as numerous other cousins, nieces, and a nephew. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27,2021 from 2:00pm -5:00pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Visitation begins at the funeral home at 12noon on Sunday.
