Julia Phillips Obituary

Julia Phillips, 79, of Lumberport, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2021. She was born in Clarksburg on July 2, 1942 to the late Harry Hardesty and Amanda (Wiseman) Hardesty. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Glenn Phillips; her six siblings; Edgar, Richard “Dick”, Phyllis George, Joanne Dotson, David “Happy” and Garry; one grandson, and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Phillips and wife Tammy of Nestorville, WV, Steven Phillips and wife Betsy of Shinnston, WV, daughter Glennda Signorelli and late husband David of Shinnston, WV, step-daughter Cheryl Thomas of Northview; stepson Michael Phillips of Lost Creek; step daughter Pamela Lambert and late husband Brooks of Shinnston; and sister-in-law Linda Hardesty. Julia also has ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Full Gospel Worship Center and enjoyed Womens Group and crossword puzzles. Julia was the last surviving sibling. She leaves behind a strong legacy of faith. Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 4:00-8:00. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:30am with Pastor Tim Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow Elizabeth Mason Cemetery at Joetown.
