Louis Lonnie Eisenburg

Louis Lonnie Eisenburg, 63, passed away at his home in Calhoun City on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Born July 13, 1958, in Vardaman, he was the son of the late Walter Warren “Tex” Eisenburg and the late Martha Louise Ellis Eisenburg. Louis attended Vardaman High School, and was of Baptist faith. In 1984, he married the former Betty Schmitz, and they have spent 37 wonderful years together. He was retired after working many years as a Supervisor at Shannon Chair Company. Louis loved to be outside, either hunting or fishing. He also loved to tinker on just about anything. He would constantly try and find ways to keep himself busy. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandbabies. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his family and friends. Pryor Funeral Home is honored to serve the Eisenburg family. A private memorial for Louis will be held at a later date. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Betty Schmitz Eisenburg; a son, Scott Eisenburg of Arkansas; daughters, Kristy Bounds and her husband Jeffrey of Calhoun City, and Courtney Hood and her husband David of Vardaman; and grandchildren, Warren Eisenburg, Tessa Hood, Lang Hood, Leland Hood, and Maverick Hood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Warren “Tex” Eisenburg and Martha Louise Ellis Eisenburg. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at pryorfuneralhome.com
