<p><br /> William R. Rose<br /> Age 67 of San Diego, CA, formerly of Erie and Wilkins Twp., passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Brother of James A. (Michele), Thomas A. (Linda), Terence L. (Connie), Frederick G., Mark D. (Tina), Mary E. (Robert) Dolak, and the late Ronald F. Rose and Francine (surviving spouse, Roger) Strane; also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, James A. Sr. and Evelyn F. (Fierst) Rose. A private interment was held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. I knew Bill in the 1970s when he was a student at Gannon University in Ere, PA. He was one of the most interesting people I have ever known and, many years later, became the inspiration for the main character in a short story I wrote. -- Donald McQuaid

As a special remembrance, William R. Rose has been enrolled in the Claretian Perpetual Mass League. His name will be recorded in Rome by our Father Superior and permanently remembered by The Claretian Missionaries in Masses said throughout the world.
