(Connie), Frederick G., Mark D. (Tina), Mary E. (Robert) Dolak, and the late Ronald F. Rose and Francine (surviving spouse, Roger) Strane; also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, James A. Sr. and Evelyn F. (Fierst) Rose. A private interment was held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. I knew Bill in the 1970s when he was a student at Gannon University in Ere, PA. He was one of the most interesting people I have ever known and, many years later, became the inspiration for the main character in a short story I wrote. -- Donald McQuaid
