Vivienne Darcel "Vivi Princess" King, 4, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away November 20, 2021 at Saint Louis Children's Hospital. She was born July 17, 2017 in Mount Vernon to Jesse King and Lenzi Gowler. Vivi is survived by her daddy, Jessie King and wife, Brook of Iuka, Illinois; mommy, Lenzi Darcel Gowler and fiance, Papaw Lucas Savage of Mount Vernon; grandparents, MeMaw Heidi and Papa Jeff Neideffer of Woodlawn, Illinois, Papa Blake and Nana Janna Gowler, and Maw Maw Lori Johnson; great-grandparents, Mike and Leona Johnson, Phyllis Gowler, and Mark Kirkpatrick; siblings, Sissy Veronika, James, and Maverick; and aunts and uncles, Marcie "Aunt MarMar" Caldwell, Christine Bolerjack, Larry Alan and Jacqueline King, Amy Rainey and husband, Natasha Neideffer, Ashley Neideffer, and Jeffery and Ranzie Callahan. Vivi was preceded in death by her grandma, Grandma Darc; grandpa, Larry King; and great-grandma, Wanda Kirkpatrick. Vivi was always the happiest little girl in the room. She loved Scooby Doo, jamming with her daddy, playing with her sissy and brothers, and cuddling with mommy while she rubbed her back and played with her hair. Vivi was always ready to go to her MawMaw's, who was her best friend. She could often be found wresting with PaPa or riding the golf cart with MeMaw. She also loved going swimming with her Aunt MarMar. Vivi was a bright light that will be deeply missed by all who knew and adored her. Private services will be held with Ben Caldwell officiating. Interment will take place at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vivi's honor to help with funeral expenses.
