Matthew Tyler Elijah Tackett, age 21, of Pikeville, KY., passed from this life, Monday, November 22, 2021. Elijah was born on June 27, 2000, to Gary G. Tackett and Jennifer Tackett (Blankenship).

Elijah is proceeded in death by one half-brother, AJ Tackett.

Elijah is survived by his daughter, Abrianna Emma Grace Tackett; mother, Jennifer Tackett (Blankenship); father, Gary G. Tackett; sister, Grace Cecil (Jordan), half-sister, Arabella Tackett; half-brothers, Dalton Tackett, Anthony Tackett; fiancé, Tabitha Hall; maternal grandmother, Ruth Johnson; paternal grandparents, Gary and Teena Tackett, Janie Tackett; one niece, Penelope Jordyn Ruth Cecil; one uncle, James (Courtney) Mullins; as well as a loving host of family and friends.

Elijah was a devoted and a cherished father, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will accept friends Friday, November 26, 2021, at Thacker Funeral Home from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Saturday November 27, 2021, from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Funeral procession will leave Thacker Funeral Home Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow Tackett Family Cemetery of Toler, KY.
