<p>Thomas Salvatore Petrovato, 85, of Suffern, NY, beloved husband of 59 years to Jane A. (nee Phillips) Petrovato, entered into eternal rest on November 24, 2021.</p> <p>Born on August 12, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Bruno and Anna (nee Mollura) Petrovato.</p> <p>Along with his wife, Tom leaves behind his children, Adria (Michael) Ward, John (Rebecca) Petrovato, and Gregory (Amanda) Petrovato; grandchildren, Evan Ward, Cosmo Petrovato, Emmett and Gus Petrovato and many extended family and friends.</p> <p>Tom proudly served in the U.S Army National Guard 187th Artillery, Battery C, 2nd gun Battalion.</p> <p>Tom attended NYU and New York School of Printing. He had 40 wonderful and successful years as an advertising executive in NYC.</p> <p>Tom was very proud of his Italian American roots and always shared fond memories of growing up in Carol Gardens, Brooklyn.</p> <p>Tom had a rich life enjoying his children and most of all, his grandchildren.</p> <p>He will always remain our Hero.</p> <p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Mary Church, 5 Hillhouse Ave New Haven, CT 06511. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) Interment will take place at a later date.</p>

Thomas Salvatore Petrovato, 85, of Suffern, NY, beloved husband of 59 years to Jane A. (nee Phillips) Petrovato, entered into eternal rest on November 24, 2021.
