Memorial service for David Paul Roy, Sr. will be held a later date.

Mr. Roy, 57 a resident of Hessmer passed away on November 21, 2021 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Philonease (Goudeau) Roy; and a brother, Dale Paul Roy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, “D.J.” David P. Roy, Jr. of Hessmer, and “Paco” Dustin Michael Roy with “Telly” Shantelle Normand of Marksville, brother, Wayne Joseph Roy of Hessmer; sister, Debra Ann Roy of VillePlatte.

Grandchildren, Aiden Roy, Addie Claire Roy, Brayden Michael Roy, Carter Lane Roy.

He is also survived by his ex wife Cynthia Normand; close friend, “Bub” Eddie, nieces, Brittany(Britt) Weston, Renee (Nae) Cunnikin; Godson, Joshua(Josh) Cazalot and man’s best friend his dog, Chloe Marie Roy.

Escude Funeral Home of Mansura is in charge of arrangements.
