Burnice Lee Risner

Burnice Lee Risner, 89, of LaBelle, Florida passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on May 28, 1932 to parents, George and Myrtle (Craft) Risner. Burnice retired from Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping. He was a man of strong faith and was a member of the Church of God in Jesus. Mr. Risner is survived by his children, Larry Risner, Marsha (James) Monk, Daryl (Bonnie) Risner & Danny (Lisa) Risner; brother, Ron Risner; sister, Faye Rudd; 11 grandchildren, Christine, Michelle, Melissa, Anthony, Emily, Jacob, Bryan, Rebecca, Cindy, Jon & Aaron; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Imogene Risner; son, Michael Risner; granddaughter, Amy Risner; parents; and siblings, Lois, David & Henrietta. Special thank you to his daughter-in-law, Bonnie Risner for taking extra special care of Burnice. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Pastor Rodney Griffin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of God in Jesus, 5604 West Alexandria Rd., Middletown, OH 45042.
