Mary L. Crouse

Mary L. Crouse, 87, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Paramount Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 19, 1934 in Martinsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. Reilly, Sr. and Esther E. (Burket) Reilly. Her beloved husband, Paul C. Crouse, preceded her in death on February 9, 2007. Mary was employed as an editor at Letterkenny Army Depot. She later was employed at Thrift Drug Store and Sheetz in Greenvillage. Mary was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and NARFE. She is survived by three children, Donald P. Crouse (wife Ilene) of Chambersburg, Steven A. Crouse of Orrstown, and Catherine L. Swartz of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two brothers, David Reilly of NC and Charles Reilly (wife Carol) of FL. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher E. Crouse in 1982 and Andrew D. Crouse in 2005; one grandchild; one great grandchild; two brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Fr. Allan Wolfe will officiate. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town at www.boystown.org.
