Obituary

Kaylie Marie Ueland

July 8, 1993 - November 20, 2021

Kaylie was taken to be with the Lord early Saturday morning. Our hearts are filled with sorrow. Kaylie was taken from us suddenly and far too soon. Her loving, caring manner made everyone she met feel special.

Kaylie is a native of Montana. She was born in Miles City and grew up on a ranch outside of Anaconda. She graduated top ten of her class from Anaconda High School in 2011. After high school she went on to graduate from the University of Montana with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology in 2016. She decided to further her physical therapy education by attending Flathead Valley Community College where she earned her Associate in Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Kaylie was a hard worker, starting with working at Fairmont, Finn & Porter (Missoula), Corvallis PT Clinic and was employed at the Catalyst Physical Therapy Center in Hamilton at the time of her death. Kaylie loved her job, her coworkers who became close friends and most importantly Kaylie loved her patients and would go in early or stay working late to make sure she could treat them. She went above and beyond to ensure they were taken care of, bringing them gifts, food, clothing, and even cat-sitting. She loved helping people. Kaylie loved Hamilton, the people and most importantly the mountain views.

Kaylie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always willing to lend a hand or shoulder for whatever you needed. She loved her parents and brothers very much. She was very competitive, especially with her brothers, and always tried to out-wit her dad (his response would be NEVER!). She made sure to call her mom every night to chat about their days. Kaylie could always make you feel special by writing you notes or drawing pictures just to let you know she was thinking of you.

Kaylie was spunky and outgoing. Her smile lit up every room she entered. She could make you laugh even when you didn't want to or when she was going through a hard time. One thing about Kaylie is she always had your back no matter what. She was the life of every party. Always thoughtful and witty.

Kaylie was a free spirit; loved adventures, traveling, hiking, working out, running and always up for a new experience. She participated in a Spartan race and many marathons. Her hobbies included reading, listening to music, paddleboarding, snowboarding, going to concerts and visiting the nearby hot springs.

There is absolutely no way we could end this without mentioning her babies, Lucy and Leopold. They meant the world to Kaylie and she did everything to make them happy. Even if that meant turning her house into an ice box, so her kitties could sit on the roof.

Kaylie touched many lives and is missed more than words can say.

Kaylie is survived by her parents, Ryan & Tina Ueland, brothers Dalton (Nicole) Ueland, Slone Ueland, Nephews Parker, Cash, and Case. Grandparents, Chris & Glenda Ueland and Marie & Chuck Miller. Aunts and Uncles, Tony & Patti Nazer, Kirk & Cheryl Ueland, Brooke & Allen Gierke, and numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her aunt Laurie Nazer.

Because of her love for animals, donations can be made to your local animal shelter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Washoe Park Rd, Anaconda.
