MSgt (Retired) Billie "Bill" Loran Terrell Obituary

MSgt (Retired) Billie “Bill” Loran Terrell, age 80, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Bill was born on July 5, 1941 in Waurika, Oklahoma and was the son of Loran Mitchell and Laura Naomi (Hood) Terrell.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Chef where he retired after a 22-year career.  Bill also retired after a 20-year career as a Regional Manager for Aramark Services in Texas.  He loved getting together with his family, and it was said he was the best griller.  Bill enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Bill is survived by his wife of 11 years, Juanita Terrell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his three daughters, Barbara Beranek and her husband Keith of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nancy Elliott and her husband Rick of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Deborah Ingle of Tulsa, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren, David Terrell, Christopher Terrell and his wife Kasey Davis, Matthew Terrell, Spencer Terrell, Chelsea Hinckle and her husband Bobby, Garrett Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Amanda Day and her husband Patrick, George Charles Knoll II, Thomas Allen Knoll and his wife Alexandria, Tia Swanson and her husband Gabral, Nichole Elliott, and Nadali Elliott; sixteen great grandchildren, Izen Wilson, Caleb Terrell, Colton Terrell, Caden Terrell, Oakley Terrell, Billie Loran Terrell Knoll, Bentley Knoll, Briley Knoll, Brock Knoll, Blake Knoll, KaiLynne Knoll, Seth Day, Luke Day, Avery Swanson, Olivia Swanson, and Everly Swanson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Louise Terrell; his parents, Loran Mitchell and Laura Naomi Terrell; his son, Edward Loran Terrell; and his brother, Johnnie Terrell.

A memorial service celebrating Bill’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.  Interment with full military honors will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
