Evelyn Meadors, age 94 of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Tuesday November 23, 2021at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 11, 1927 in Whitley County, KY to the late Arthur and Italy Hudson Phillips. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Coyt Meadors, granddaughter Whitney Meadors, step father; Oscar Collins, daughter-in-law Lois Terrell Meadors and one sister Mary Chaney. She is survived by two sons; Jim Meadors (Joyce) of Rockholds, KY, Bruce Meadors (Patricia) of Williamsburg, KY, four grandchildren; Jessica Jackson (Andrew), Natasha Parsons (Matt), Farrah Meadors and Nicole Meadors Wilson (Josh), eight great grandchildren; Austin Capps, Jerimiah Wilson, Levi Jackson, Coyt Jackson, Laura Jackson, Paul Parsons, Mark Parsons and Luke Parsons, one great great grandchild; Jericho Tyler Wilson, one step grandchild; Kevin Hays, one step great grandchild; Lexie Maurer, one sister; Geraldine Gregg of Mississippi, one brother; Oscar Eugene Collins (Irene) of Williamsburg, KY, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday November 27, 2021 at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Lester and Bro. Vernon Jones officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition. Visitation will be 6:00 pm Friday November 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
