MARION (JOYCE) BRAIN
1923 – 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Joyce Brain announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on November 23, 2021 at the age of 98. Joyce was a member of the Ladies Auxilary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #12 and a member of the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward (Ted) Brain; son, Ted Brain; brother, Harry Carter; and sisters, Hazel Newhook, Ruby Alford, and Joan LeBlanc.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons, Allan Brain (Sharron) of Paradise, NL and Donald Brain (Debbie) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; and daughter, Margaret Wareham (Ross) of Torbay, NL.
Also leaving to mourn are her brother, Ed Saunders (Janet); grandchildren, David Wareham, Donna Bourne, Maria Brain, Laura Freak and Kenneth Brain; great-grandchildren, Gianna and Elexa Wareham, Dallas and Mason Tulk, Samuel and Parker Bourne, and Thomas and Noah Freake.
Rev. Kim Waite will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Julia Caines of Central Funeral Homes.
