It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Buglio who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21st at the Treasure Coast Hospice Center in Stuart Florida. Kathleen was born and raised in Hammonton, NJ where she graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1953. Shortly after graduation, she married John Buglio and settled in Vineland New Jersey where she worked and raised two children, John and Lauren. In 1989, she relocated to Palm Coast Florida with her husband where they purchased a property and built a new home. After spending 8 years in Palm Coast, they determined that the weather was too cold there and moved south of the frost line to Hobe Sound Florida where they lived the remainder of their years. Kathleen’s greatest source of enjoyment came from her faith in God and her participation within her parish at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Hobe Sound. She served as an integral member of the Bible Study and Prayer Group at the church and was involved with many charitable projects within the community. Kathleen served as an integral member of her neighborhood where she was loved and respected by many of her neighbors, many of whom assisted her in her final years. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband John F. Buglio; parents Anthony and Mary Scaltrito and a brother Anthony (Sonny) Scaltrito. She is survived by a sister Patty Allen; a daughter Lauren Buglio; a son John Buglio and wife Debbie and granddaughter Silvia; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held at All County Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2nd from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Christopher’s Catholic Church on Friday, December 3rd at 10:30 am followed by a private interment at South Florida National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
