Calvin Stevenson "Steve" Barker, Jr.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Calvin Stevenson "Steve" Barker, Jr., 71, of Jacksonville, will be held at a later date. Mr. Barker passed away November 23, 2021, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Mr. Barker worked for many years as a safety engineer with L.E. Bell Construction Company. He is preceded in death by a son, Blake Barker. Mr. Barker is survived by his son, Jeff Barker and his wife, Candace; his daughter, April Barker Long; the mother of his children, Malinda Barker; grandchildren, Parker Joseph and Jackson Blake Barker, and Adelaide, Millie, and Gus Long; and a brother, Richard Barker and his wife, Debbie. Steve hold a special place in my heart and memory. His love for music, fishing and my family has been a shared blessing. He will be missed, but I celebrate his life lived and those lives he touched.
