Galin Wayne Shultz, 67, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2021. He was born in San Diego, California to Gordon Warren Shultz and Marie Louise Shultz (Maass). He graduated from Muskogee Public Schools. After graduation, he joined the United States Army. He married the love of his life RosaLea Sanders on August 27, 1976 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Galin worked as a Signal Forman and Signal Inspector for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and was a veteran, serving in the Army National Guard. He loved attending Ash Street Baptist Church and was an avid hunter, mechanic and grandfather. Galin is survived by his wife: RosaLea Sanders Shultz; son Galin Wayne Shultz II, his wife Rebecca, granddaughter Ema, and son Caleb Shultz. He leaves behind brothers Donald Shultz and wife Betty of Broken Arrow, OK, brother Gordon Warren Shultz Jr. and wife Regina of Hulbert, OK, brother-in-law Bo Sanders and wife Tammy of Muskogee, sister-in-law Loren Moore and husband Tony of Oklahoma City as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Garrick Beau, his parents, his brothers David and Arthur, mother and father-in-law Jack and Delores Sanders, and sister-in-law Crystal Whitaker. Galin was an avid storyteller who never met a stranger. He was a loving husband and father, a dedicated railroader, and God loving man that will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 29 at Ash Street Baptist Church with Reverend David Yarbrough officiating.
