Caspberry Brooks Jr., affectionately known as “Junior” or “Cas” was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 25, 1962. He was also called Uncle Reemus by his cousins. He is the son of the late Caspberry Brooks Sr. and Mary (Rumsey) Brooks of Havre De Grace, Maryland. Our dearly beloved Caspberry was called home to Glory suddenly on November 20, 2021 in Bel Air, Maryland at Upper Chesapeake Hospital.

He received his early education in the Harford County Public Schools, attending Havre de Grace Elementary, Havre de Grace Middle School, and Havre de Grace High School.

He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, Maryland. At Mt. Zion he was a member of the Junior Usher Board and the Junior Choir.

Although he was skilled in many professions his passion was always as a Certified Truck Driver. He worked 10 years in Seattle, Washington as a Truck Driver on the open road, he worked at Maryland Portable Concrete for close to 10 years.

He had an undeniable love for the New England Patriots football team. He enjoyed watching the football games with close friends, Brenda and Charles of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Caspberry was always the life of the party with his storytelling and affectionate laugh. He loved his family dearly as he was always the first one to reach out to family members for birthdays and holidays every year. Caspberry never missed a year with taking his younger sister Shirley to the July 4th parade in Havre de Grace. He also never forgot his upbringing with the love that his parents taught him.

On August 17, 2019, Caspberry Brooks Jr. married the love of his life Elissa Michelle Dennis in Havre de Grace, Maryland. They enjoyed vacations, football games, listening to music, and watching old TV shows during the marriage.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Elissa Michelle Dennis-Brooks of Aberdeen, Maryland. Precious memories will also be cherished by his children, Caspberry Brooks III of Havre de Grace, Maryland, Antonio Moore(Khadijah) of Ellicott City, Maryland, Tyrone and Wanda McKisset both of Edgewood, Maryland. His (4) stepchildren, Kenneth, Jaylyn, Jusiah, and Kymir all of Aberdeen, Maryland. His siblings, Elder Theresa White (Dean) of New Castle, Delaware, Candice Brooks of Havre de Grace, MD, Denise Brooks of Aberdeen, MD and Shirley Brooks of Aberdeen, MD. His nine grandchildren, Jovan, Cianna, and Caliyah. Antionio, Ibn, Yaseen and Yaqub. Jahzara and Tyrone. Kamari. A multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents, Caspberry and Mary Brooks, his brother Ivan Brooks, and his granddaughter, Destiny Monae Brooks.
