Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Hudnall Stephens, age 77, of Taylor, AR, will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the First Baptist Church, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Chris Lucy officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill. Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill. Mr. Stephens was born on March 4, 1944 to Charlie Thomas and Mattie Cleo Allen Stephens in the Stateline Community/Taylor, AR and passed away suddenly on Monday, November 22, 2021 in Taylor. He was a member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from International Paper Company Woodlands Division and was currently a loader operator for Springhill Land and Timber. He enjoyed working, raising cattle, gardening, and visiting with the guys at the coffee shop. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria Jean Hale Stephens of Taylor; daughter, Robin (Fred) Julch of Conway, AR; son, Toby Clyde (Hannah) Stephens of Fort Mill, SC; four grandchildren, Luke Stephens Trubiano, Cecilia Trubiano, Claire Anna Stephens, William Ely Stephens; sister, Charlene (Jesse) Lowe of Minden, LA; two brothers, Clinton (Carolyn) Stephens of Lewisville, AR, Carl (Rose) Stephens of Taylor, AR; uncle, Jerry (Dianne) Stephens of Springhill, LA; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia (James) Lindsey of Springhill, LA, Drenda Hale of Mayflower, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Clarence Stephens, Connie Lambert Stephens; sister, JoAnn Hatfield; and brother-in-law, Louis James Hale. Pallbearers will be Jason Stephens, Matthew Stephens, Jerry Clary, Waco Hale, John David Stalnaker, Scott Stephens, Jeff Stephens, Robert Trubiano, Luke Stephens Trubiano and William Ely Stephens.
