Lou Stuebing Obituary

Mary Lou (Gottfried) Stuebing of Clifford passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in her 76th year. Daughter of the late cherished Charles Gottfried, and widow of the late beloved John Stuebing. Her son Walter Schultz announces the passing of his dear mother Mary Lou (Lou) Stuebing. An artist born with a steering wheel in her hand, Lou faced and overcame enormous challenges, adversities, and tragedies her whole life and treasured the true friendships and kinships she had. She was born in Kitchener, was world-traveled, and made her home in Clifford where she and her late husband had a well-known business. Her son, close friends, and relatives take solace in the overwhelming expressions of sadness of her passing along with the joyful recollections of memories with her. In keeping with her giving nature, her body has been bequeathed for the advancement of medical science in accordance with her wishes. A memorial is being planned for Spring/Summer 2022. Walter would also like to thank the wonderful medical professionals at Palmerston Hospital for their compassionate care. Arrangements entrusted to the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
