Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Lloyd Tompkins, age 78, of Taylor, AR, will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kree Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Cemetery in Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mr. Tompkins was born on September 26, 1943 to Lloyd and Silvietta Marie Hodges Tompkins in Taylor, AR and passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Taylor, AR. He is survived by two sons, Shannon L. Tompkins and Jeffrey Scott Tompkins both of Taylor, AR; two daughters, Tracy Tompkins of Tulsa, OK, Sherry West of Taylor, AR; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Cindy) Tompkins of Cedar Key, FL; sister, Pam Hartley of Springhill, LA; cousin and best friend Gary Barnes, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Tompkins was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Darlene Tompkins; his parents; sister, Patricia Nell Tompkins; and a son, Lane West. Pallbearers will be Jeff McFadden, Brandon McFadden, Colbie West, Brian Tompkins, Nathan Davidson, Jamie Cumbaa, Jeff Tompkins, and Johnny Tompkins.
