Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our dear father, Karl Heinz Stief, born May 10, 1929.  He passed away peacefully at Creston Valley Hospital on November 18, 2021.
Karl worked as an orderly at Cottonwood Homes until he retired in 2003. While he worked there, he gave great care to seniors and other disabled residents. He was very well-liked by staff and residents. He then moved to Creston, BC. in 2005, where he lived out his life.
Dad enjoyed many wonderful things. He was an amazing gardener who could grow anything. He enjoyed his German music, reading history books, and had many other traits. He was best known for the love of his animals, especially his latest schnauzer, Timmy.
He enjoyed his home up till 2020. He then resided with his son and daughter-in-law, Wolfgang & Doris Stief, who gave him a comfortable loving home. We appreciated the great care they gave him.
Dad was predeceased by his wife, Alice Stief in, 2004.
He leaves behind his children, sons; Peter Stief (Karen), Roland Stief (Denise), Wolfgang Stief (Doris), Victor Stief (Pat), Rolf Stief, and Chris Stief; daughters; Ursula LaRock (Cecil), and Monika Stief (Andrzej Dziuba). He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be sorely missed. You are forever in my heart. Papa will always be in my heart. LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU. See you someday, your loving Daughter, Monika.
