Ethel M. Snyder

HALIFAX - Ethel M. Snyder, 90, of Halifax, died November 20, 2021, at UPMC West Shore. She was born on May 22, 1931 in Elizabethville, PA the daughter of the late Francis and Beatrice (Shoop) Johns. Ethel was married to the late Lester L. Snyder for 64 years. She retired as a seamstress having worked at the shoe factory in Millersburg, and also at the dress factories in Halifax, Millersburg, and Dauphin. She is survived by her daughters Teresa Spotts and her husband Jonathan of Schuylkill Haven, and Cheryl Snyder of Halifax, sons Dean Snyder of Millersburg, Larry Snyder of Camp Hill, and 9 grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Johns. The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 26th, 2021 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Millersburg from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Long's Cemetery, Halifax.
