<p>Denise Kay Zimmerman, 61, of Peoria, passed away on Friday November 19, 2021 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on March 9, 1960 in Bloomington the daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Oertwig) Zimmerman.</p> <p>She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army.</p> <p>Denise is survived by her parents Raymond and Ruth Zimmerman of Eureka; three children Michelle Jadczak of Roanoke, Cassandra Zimmerman of Eureka, Corey Zimmerman of Metamora; one grandson; three sisters Deborah (Dave) Axelrod of Secor, Dorey Holt of Pontiac, Rachel (Bill) Myers of Edwards and one brother Roger Zimmerman of Eureka.</p> <p>A visitation will be held on Tuesday November 30, 2021 from 5 to 5:30pm at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral home in Eureka. Memorial service will follow. Pastor Joe Burns will officiate the service.
