Tabsoue Jane Mullins, age 80 of Bean Station, left this old world behind in exchange for her new heavenly home on Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She was a mother to all and a true friend to many. Tabsoue was a profound Christian for 68 years and a member of Rock Heaven Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Clevenger Mallicoat, bother; Gerald Atkins, sister; Lucille Trent, niece; Michelle Ferrell Lilly, nephew; Gerald DeWayne Atkins, daughter; Berniece Mullins and one of unknown gender at time of miscarriage.
Tabsoue is survived by her husband of 61 years, James E. Mullins, daughter; Delores (Donnie) Crowe, grand-daughter; Vanessa (Jerry) Johnson, great-grandchildren; Tivon Arnold, Seanna Johnson, Abbigayle Johnson, and Annaleigh Johnson, sister; Loretta (Jeff) Dalton, brothers; Michael Dean Atkins, Larry Clevenger, and Rodger (BJ) Clevenger, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins who she loved unconditionally.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Mayes Mortuary. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Buster Jarvis and Grant Vaughn officiating. The family will meet at Bean Station First Baptist Church Cemetery, on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1 PM for a graveside service.
