Clayton Cromen Hendricks Jr., age 72, of Watson, Oklahoma, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1949 to Clayton Cromen Sr. and Clara Steppler Hendricks in Camden, New Jersey.

Clayton was a hard worker and worked for over 20 years for Burnett Construction in Watson, Oklahoma. Clayton loved his family and having them over for cookout so he could spend time with his kids and grandchildren. One of Clayton's greatest loves next to his wife, was going fishing. He loved to go to the lake, to the pond, river or the creek, anywhere he might think he could catch a fish. Clayton was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Clayton is preceded in death by his parents.

Clayton is survived by his wife, Merlan Hendricks of Watson, Oklahoma; two sons, Buddy Hendricks of Mena, Arkansas and Casey Jewell of Watson, Oklahoma; one daughter and son in law, Mary and Willie Bowen of Smithville, Oklahoma; sisters and brother in law, Rose and Steve Tzumi of New Jersey and Rebecca Hendricks of New Jersey; brother and sister in law, Kenny and Ellen Martin of Otavia, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Melanie Jewell, Bubba Gertiser, Matthew Gertiser, Katlynn Hughes-Clausen, Ryan Hendricks, Katelyn Hendricks, Shauna Hughes, Isaac Hughes and Dalton Hendricks; one great grandchild, Neavah Clausen; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Watson Cemetery with Brother Todd Webb officiating. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Casey Jewell, Buddy Hendricks, Kenny Martin, Ryan Hendricks and Bubba Gertiser.
