Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Theresa Lynn Sylvester Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, LA.  Pastor Joey Cormier will conduct the funeral service. Burial will take place in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs, LA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, LA.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Anderson, age 69, of Krotz Springs on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Theresa graduated from ABW (Amy Bradford Ware).  She worked at the voting polls for many years.  She loved being outdoors, gardening, tending to her flowers and watching for hummingbirds.  She loved cooking, traveling to different states and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bruce Anderson of Krotz Springs; her sons, Samuel James Anderson and wife, Stephanie of Maurice; William Harold Anderson of Erath; and Michael Anthony Sylvester of Colorado; her daughters, Erica Lynn Desormeaux and husband, Willie "Bud" of Prairie Ronde; and Angela Hope Lanclos and husband, Jamie of Arnaudville; her daughter-in-law, Elif Anderson of Turkey; her brothers, Robert Sylvester and wife, Cathy of Port Barre; and Kenneth "Kenny" Sylvester of Eunice; her sisters, Sandra Doga of Opelousas; and Debbie Richard of Eunice; and her sister-in-law, Yvonne Artall and husband, Ralph of Melville.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sylvester and Helen Carey Sylvester; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eddie Lee Anderson and Thelma Joy Bordelon Anderson; her son, Michael Alan Anderson; her brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Sylvester; her sister, Alice Pastorick and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Johnson and Christine Collenger.
