Ben M. Farley Obituary

Ben M. Farley, 79, of White Hall, was born September 10, 1942, in Pumpkin Bend, AR, to William Andrew and Flossie Scott Farley, and passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Army. He started his own business, Farley’s Mobile Home Moving Service, from which he retired. After retiring, Ben began driving a school bus for White Hall School District.


He was a member of First Baptist Church, White Hall, and loved to spend his time boating and camping, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.


Ben was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kim Farley; and four brothers, Stacy Farley, Ray Farley, Larry Farley, and James Farley.


He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan Copeland Farley; four daughters, Karen Harper, Lori Smith, Leslie Hubbard, and Amy Bunting; four brothers, Otis Farley, Jim Farley, Harold Farley, and Dan Farley; three sisters, Geneva Waymack, Vedia Chambliss, and Doris Williams; eight grandchildren, Chase Elder, Kyle Elder, Kelsey Harper, Sam Harper, Kaylee Church, Ari Hubbard, Isaac Hubbard, and Israel Hubbard; two great-granddaughters, Avery and Nadya; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.


The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 27, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Chapel, followed by a celebration of his life at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow at White Hall Methodist Cemetery.
