(Ritchey) Mock</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>November 16, 1925&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; November 21, 2021</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Florence I. (Ritchey) Mock, 96, of Martinsburg, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 21, 2021, at the Colonial Courtyard at Bedford.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was born in Everett, daughter of the late Lorenzo M. &ldquo;Cap&rdquo; and Nellie M. (Stayer) Ritchey.&nbsp; On March 1, 1947 she married Byron E. &ldquo;Barney&rdquo; Mock in Cumberland, MD and he preceded her in death on November 10, 2000.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Surviving are two daughters: Penny A. Burger (Brice) of Martinsburg and Petina J. Albright of Altoona; a son, Barry Duane &ldquo;Pick&rdquo; Mock of Jeffersonton, VA; a son-in-law, Raymond E. Bollman of Martinsburg; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alene Prye of Greencastle.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was preceded in death by two daughters: Patricia L. Bollman and Pamela S. Blackburn; a grandson, Michael Joseph Albright; three brothers: infant William D., Lorenzo N. &ldquo;Junior&rdquo;, Marshal K. &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; Ritchey; and six sisters: infant Ruth E., Clemma M. Redinger, Edith M. Clark, Mona Louise Clark, Doris Foor and S. JoAnn King.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Florence was a 1943 graduate of Everett Southern Joint High School, where she was a proud member of the girls&rsquo; basketball team.&nbsp; She retired as a machine operator from Cove Shoe Company, Martinsburg with close to 30 years of service.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a loving homemaker, who always kept her home neat and tidy. Florence also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the request of the deceased there will be no public services.&nbsp;&nbsp; Inurnment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.&nbsp; Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, contributions in Florence&rsquo;s memory may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St., Ste 206, State College, PA 16803.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
